Fergie is a young spayed Pitbull who is working on her manners. She is learning to leave it and wait and not put paws on people or things. Fergie is one of the first dogs to be trained in the Doggie U Method and will be transitioning out of the kennel and into a foster home before she will be made available for adoption. The goal is to have her understand how to behave in her new home and that we understand what she is all about in order to find her the best home for her. She is going for car rides and to group classes to work on her social skills thanks to her volunteer that comes at least once a week to work with her. We are learning that she is a burst of energy in the beginning of the walk but then quickly peters out due to her having had heartworm in the past. She ignores the other dogs, but does fixate and focus on small furry critters. We will keep you posted on her transitions. If you are interested in volunteering to help with the Rowquin dogs and their training, please feel free to contact me at doggieullc@gmail.com to learn more.
