Fostering is a great way to help out animals in need. It gives them a safe place to land and time to work on their manners and social skills so they do not have to live out the rest of their days in a kennel. Most rescues will provide you with everything you need to take care of the animal, all you have to do is provide them with space to learn.

There is always need for people to walk dogs. This helps those dogs have great interaction and socialization. Taking dogs to events for exposure for adoption is a huge help for finding them their people.

Social media helps dogs find their homes just by sharing their information. Don't have a Facebook or Instagram account, you can always e-mail a friend or tell a neighbor about the great dog you saw online that needs a home. It takes a village to raise a child; it takes a community to give a dog a home.
