ROTARY CLUB -- SERVICE PROJECTS

We have two Service Projects currently going on for Harrisburg Keystone Rotary that you can easily help out or contribute towards. The first is we are collecting soft plastics. These are your bread bags, Amazon envelopes, bubble wrap, plastic wrappers for your toilet paper or paper towels, etc. Any plastic that you can push your finger through. No hard plastics please. Example: tortilla bags -- cut the zipper off and give me the bag part to recycle. Please make sure that there is no food in the bag or paper receipts or paper stickers. Cut those off if you can. We need 1000 pounds of soft plastics to make a park bench. These benches then get installed at parks around the Harrisburg Area. Its a great way to take our trash and put it to good use beautifying our parks.

If you would like to contribute, please feel free to bring your donations to me when you come to Group Classes or at Events.

Please feel free to bring your bags to me at Group Classes. I will then take them over to Appalachian Brewing Co., at our weekly meeting Tuesday nights. You are also welcome to come and attend a meeting and see what its all about.
